I’m really pleased to say that Purrs & Paws has officially been approved as a CPD Provider!
Education has always been a big part of my career, from working as a teacher, to working in SEN, and even as groomer, it’s been a huge part of my journey.
From gaining my Level 3 qualifications, my international master cat grooming qualification and competing. To travelling to Singapore to train with some incredible groomers, and constantly looking for ways to improve, I’ve always believed that you never stop learning.
I’ve been working behind the scenes on my first training course. It’s a practical course aimed at people who want to learn to groom cats safely & confidently. There isn’t one size fits all for grooming businesses, so my aim is to make it adaptable to how YOU work in your business, eg mobile/salon.
There’s still a lot of writing, planning and refining to do before it’s ready, but becoming a CPD Provider is a big step towards making it happen. For me, CPD accreditation is about quality and accountability. Every course is independently assessed to make sure it meets recognised standards for professional learning, giving students confidence that they’re investing in training that’s been externally reviewed.
I’ll be sharing snippets of the course, from workbook pages. It’s exciting (and a little scary!) putting this together, but I’m looking forward to seeing where it leads. 😁
